St. Paul’s Community Meal set a new record this month, by serving 321 meals in one night.  For perspective, in 2002, the average number of meals served eclipsed 200 per night.  Due to this growth, more help is needed.  Marshall added, “We are always looking for volunteers and donors.”

 

Golden State Sharpening teamed up with 10 volunteers from 8 am to 4 pm.  Those 10 generous volunteers were crucial to the day’s success, as they received orders and money from the participants, in addition to helping set up, break down, and clean up.

The first 3 years of this event has accumulated $14,000 for the Community Meal program, enough to serve 4,600 meals.
